Description

Lithium battery recycling plant research mainly focuses on the recovery of high-value positive electrode metals cobalt and lithium. The copper in the negative electrode of waste lithium batteries is an important production raw material and is widely used. The carbon powder attached to it can be used as an additive, such as plastic, rubber, etc. After the recycled waste batteries are discharged, use mechanical equipment for crushing, magnetic separation, air separation, crushing, gravity separation, screening and other processes to make the powder on the positive and negative electrodes sheet effectively separate from the copper-aluminum box, and the battery is treated as an oil-based material.. The lithium battery recycling production line is used for the disassembly and recycling of soft-package batteries, mobile phone batteries, surgical batteries, cylindrical batteries, etc. The final products are graphite powder, lithium cobalt oxide, aluminum and copper.

The waste lithium battery recycling and processing equipment of our company will crush the materials step by step through shredders, crushers and grinders, and separate them by air separation facilities. The whole set of equipment adopts a closed negative pressure system to reduce dust pollution, and has a pulse dust collection facilities collect dust generated during the separation process and subsequent processes.

 

Workflow

1. Raw materials (waste batteries): The waste batteries are transported to the shredder through the belt conveying and feeding device, and then entered into the shredder after being shredded, and the large pieces of crushed material are crushed for the second time. The crushed material enters the linear screening machine, and the lithium-cobalt powder that falls off during crushing is recovered and transported to ton bags for centralized collection; the mixed material of copper, aluminum and iron enters the magnetic separation for transportation to separate the iron shell. The remaining copper and aluminum materials enter the grinder again for grinding, and grind to 30-60 mesh particles. Then, the material enters the rotary vibrating screen for powder removal, and the lithium cobalt powder is transported to the ton bag for centralized collection. Copper and aluminum enter the gravity separation for copper and aluminum screening.

2. Dust removal equipment and deodorization equipment: The feed inlet of the shredder is provided with a dust removal pipe leading to the main dust removal pipe, and the crusher feed port is provided with a dust removal pipe leading to the main dust removal pipe. The dust and gas are collected from the linear screening machine, pulverization, conveyor, and vibrating screen collector, and then enter the cyclone dust collector-pulse dust collector-alkali washing neutralization tower in turn for dust collection and organic gas treatment.

Features

  • Through the combined process of hammer crushing, vibration screening and air separation, the resource utilization of metals and positive and negative electrode powders in the positive and negative electrode materials of waste lithium batteries can be realized.

  • The positive and negative materials are crushed by hammer vibration, which can effectively realize the mutual peeling between the positive and negative powder and the metal, and then the metal and the positive and negative powder can be preliminary separated by vibration sieving based on the difference in size and shape between the particles. The results of hammer peeling and sieving separation show that the metal and positive and negative powders are in the particle size range of particle size greater than 0.250mm and particle size less than 0.125mm, respectively, with grades as high as 92.4% and 96.6%, which can be directly sent to downstream enterprises for recycling use.

  • For crushed particles with a particle size of 0.125~0.250mm and a low metal grade, airflow separation can be used to achieve effective separation between metal and positive and negative electrode powder. When the airflow velocity is 1.00m/s, a good Recovery effect, the recovery rate of metal can reach 92.3%, and the grade can reach 84.4%.

  • This equipment is mainly used for lithium-ion battery manufacturers to separate the metal and positive and negative materials in the scrap positive and negative plates for the purpose of recycling. The complete set of equipment operates in a negative pressure state, without dust escaping, and the separation efficiency can reach more than 98%.
