At present, solar panels installed in the 1990s have entered the obsolescence period.Some studies predict that by the end of 2020, the cumulative scrap volume of Photovoltaic modules in China is expected to exceed 20 million tons.  After that, the number of discarded PV modules will increase significantly. It can be seen that in today’s world where renewable energy is gradually replacing petroleum energy, long-term recycling of solar panels has great significance to accelerate the construction of circular economy and realizes sustainable development of renewable energy and economy.
